ABOUT US

Without Walls is a senior capstone project for the Global Citizenship Program at Lehigh University. The purpose of this project is to find a way to share with the Lehigh community the values and ideals that we have learned about during our four years in the program. Our main goal for the event is to foster conversations among Lehigh students on the topics of diversity and inclusion, highlighting the impact that individual words and actions have on our campus culture. The event will include two artistic depictions and three facilitated discussions. The first artistic depiction will be one where students can write or draw the words people have used to hurt them (the Wall of Hate) on a physical wall and the second will have positive words that define hope students have for the Lehigh community (the Wall of Healing). Discussions will take place before the first Wall of Hate is built, after it is torn down, and after we build the Wall of Healing.
